Hey everyone, my 20-gal Husky compressor has been losing pressure overnight. Replaced the check valve but no luck. Any ideas? It's about 5 years old.

Check the tank drain valve and all fittings for leaks first. Also, could be the pressure switch or a bad gasket on the pump head. Soapy water test is your friend.

I had a similar issue last year. Turned out to be a tiny crack in the tank. Check around welds with soapy water. If it's the tank, be careful - don't wanna risk a rupture.

Good call on the soap test. I'll check the tank tonight. Didn't think about the pump gasket - is that common?

Yep, pump gaskets can dry out over time. Easy fix though, just get a rebuild kit. Also try tightening the head bolts - sometimes they loosen up.
