Hey everyone, I've got a 6-gallon pancake compressor that's been acting up. It runs fine but won't hold pressure overnight. I can hear a slow leak somewhere but can't find it. Soaped all the fittings and nothing. Any ideas?

Check the check valve. Had the same issue with my old Craftsman. The valve seat gets crusty. Also check the drain valve at the bottom - sometimes those leak when they get old.

I second the check valve. Also, if you drained it recently, the drain valve might not be seated fully. I once left mine slightly open and it drained all night.

Maybe the pressure switch leak? That happened to my buddy's compressor. He replaced the switch and it held fine. Also try tightening the hose connections, especially if you use quick connects.

Thanks y'all! I'll check the check valve and drain valve first. I did drain it last week, so maybe that's it. I'll report back!
