Deal alert: 6-gal air compressor for $99?

Hey guys, just saw a 6-gallon air compressor at Harbor Freight for $99. Seems too good to pass up. I do mostly trim work and some light framing. Is this thing worth it or a waste of money? Here's the link: [harborfreight.com]

I've got that exact one, Rick. It's been my go-to for brad nailers and finish work for 2 years now. No issues. Not the quietest, but for the price it's solid. Just don't expect to run a framing nailer full blast.

Honestly, for $99 you can't go wrong. I've seen guys use them for years. I'd say grab it if you don't need high CFM. I've got the 8-gal version and it's my workhorse. Only thing is check for oil leaks right out of the box.

Thanks guys, I think I'll pull the trigger. Chris, you said it works with brad nailers? That's mostly what I use. Will, I'll def check for oil leaks. Appreciate the help!

Yeah, works perfectly with my 18ga brad nailer. You might need to let it catch up if you're banging in a bunch at once, but for normal use it's fine. Let us know how it works out!
