Hey guys, saw a 60gal Ingersoll Rand at a garage sale, single stage, 5hp, runs fine. They want $150. I'm a woodworker so mostly just need it for brad nailers and occasional sandblasting. Worth it or too good to be true?

For $150 that's a steal man. I've restored old compressors and a 60gal is great for sandblasting. Just check the tank for rust - take a screwdriver and tap around the bottom. If it sounds solid, buy it. Even if you need a new pump, that tank alone could be $300+.

Echo what Paul said. I'm apprenticing as an auto tech, and we have a similar one. It'll run impact guns no problem. Only downside is single stage - slower recovery, but for hobby use it's a beast. Jump on it! And if you don't want it, tell me where it is lol.

Good point Paul, I'll check for rust. The guy said it was his dad's, used maybe 10 times. Gary, if I pass I'll DM you lol. Thanks guys, think I'll go for it.
