Hey everyone, just came across this article about Ingersoll Rand's stock underperforming. I know they make solid compressors, but does this mean they're in trouble? I've been using their 5HP unit for years, no issues. Thoughts?

Stock performance doesn't always reflect product quality. IR has a massive portfolio—compressors, tools, even industrial pumps. Could be sector rotation or supply chain issues. Their new R-Series compressors are still top-notch. I'd keep buying their gear.

I read that too. Honestly, I think it's short-term noise. IR has been around forever. As long as they don't cut corners on their tools, I'm not worried. My old Type-30 still runs like a beast. What are you guys seeing for parts availability?

Parts are still easy to find around here. My local supplier has filters and belts in stock. I'm more concerned about their new electric models—heard some complaints about the controllers. But yeah, probably overthinking the stock thing.

Agreed. The stock dip might be a buying opportunity if you're into investing. But for DIYers, their compressors are still solid. Just stick to the IR Pro series if you want reliability.
