Is IR stock slump a buy sign for their compressors?

Just read that IR's stock is lagging the industrial sector. But honestly, I don't care about the stock price, I care about my tools! I've got an IR garage compressor that's been running for 15 years without a hiccup. Is this a good time to grab another one at a discount? 🤔

Stock performance doesn't always reflect product quality, but IR has been making some questionable decisions lately. They sold off their tool division, remember? Now they're all about compressors and industrial tech. That said, my IR compressor is a workhorse. I'd say if you find a deal, go for it. Just don't invest in the stock lol.

I'm with Mike514 on this. I've got a little pancake compressor from IR for finish nails, and it's been reliable for years. But I'm a Makita guy for power tools. The stock thing? I wouldn't read too much into it. The whole industrial sector is a bit down. Maybe it's a chance to pick up a 60-gallon for the workshop without breaking the bank!

Restoration work means I need consistent air supply. IR has never let me down. I just bought their 5HP 80-gallon model last month. If the stock is down, maybe the price will drop soon. Haha. But honestly, I trust IR for compressors more than any brand. Even if the stock is underperforming, the products are top-notch. Just my two cents.
