Hey guys, just a friendly reminder from someone who learned the hard way - always wear ear protection when running your compressor. I forgot once and my ears were ringing for hours. Also, don't forget safety glasses when using blow guns or air tools. Stay safe out there!

Good advice Dave. I've seen too many folks skip the PPE. I always double up with plugs and muffs if I'm running a loud compressor for a while. Also, keep an eye on the pressure regulator - burst hoses can cause injury too.

Yeah, and don't forget to drain your tank regularly! Water buildup can cause rust and weaken the tank. I had a buddy whose tank rusted through and blew a hole. Luckily no one was near it. Ear pro is a must, but tank maintenance saves lives too.

All good points. I'll add: when using a blow gun, never point it at yourself or anyone else. Compressed air can enter the bloodstream through a cut and cause an embolism. Deadly serious. Also, be careful with air tools - they can kick back. Stay sharp everyone.
