Just saw this: Trane Technologies plc $TT Shares Sold by Richard Bernstein Advisors LLC. Guess they're not bullish on HVAC anymore? Could this affect availability or pricing of air compressors down the line? Curious what you all think.

Interesting. I wouldn't stress too much about compressor pricing though. Trane is a big player but there's plenty of other brands. Maybe it's just a portfolio rebalance. Still, always good to keep an eye on market moves if you're planning a big purchase.

Ya, I don't think this will trickle down to hobbyist gear. Might affect commercial/industrial lines, but for our small shop compressors it's probably business as usual. Plus, Trane's more about HVAC than standalone air compressors, right?

I wouldn't worry. Stock sales happen all the time. Even if Trane had issues, brands like Quincy, Ingersoll Rand, and Husky fill the gap. Just keep an eye on prices if you're in the market, but I doubt this causes a spike.

Thanks guys, that puts my mind at ease. I was eyeing a new 60-gallon but didn't want to pull the trigger if prices were about to jump. Sounds like it's mostly noise. Appreciate the input!
