Just a friendly reminder fellas. I had a close call yesterday with a cutting disc that shattered. My safety glasses saved my eye. Always wear your PPE, even for a quick cut. It's not worth the risk.

Thanks Carl! I'm guilty of skipping glasses sometimes when I'm in a hurry. Gotta get better about that. What gloves do you recommend for grinding? I find mine get chewed up quick.

I always wear impact-rated goggles AND a face shield when grinding. And for gloves, I use mechanics gloves with leather palms. They last longer and give better dexterity than thick welding gloves.

Wendy's right. I wear something similar. And don't forget hearing protection! Tinnitus is no joke. I keep earplugs on my hard hat at all times.
