Just picked up a DeWalt DCF899B at Home Depot for $99 on clearance! Bare tool only but I already have the batteries. Anyone else used this? Is it a good deal?

That's a steal! The DCF899 is a beast, 700 ft-lbs of breakaway torque. Just make sure you have ear pro and eye pro, that thing is loud and can chuck sockets if you're not careful. I use mine for lug nuts and suspension work.

Nice find! I wish I had that deal. I've been using a cheapo corded impact from harbor freight and it's day and night difference. You'll love it for taking off rusty bolts.

Agreed, great deal. But double check the torque settings if you're using it on smaller fasteners. I've sheared a few bolts by accident because I forgot to dial it down. Also, keep an eye on the batteries with that tool - it drains them fast under heavy use.
