Milwaukee M18 battery not charging?

Hey guys, my Milwaukee M18 battery stopped charging out of nowhere. It just flashes red when I put it on the charger. Tried a different charger and same thing. Any ideas?

Had the same issue with my Ryobi. Check the contacts on the battery for corrosion or junk. Clean em with a qtip and alcohol. Also might be a dead cell if it's old.

Could be the battery management board fried. If it's still under warranty, send it back. Otherwise, you can try jumping it with a good battery to reset the BMS. Youtube has tutorials.

Thanks Sarah and Gary. It's about 2 years old so maybe out of warranty. I'll try cleaning the contacts first. If that doesn't work, I'll look up that jump trick.
