Just saw this: US Opens New Unfair-Trade Probes to Rebuild Trump's Tariff Pressure. Sounds like more tariffs incoming. How's this gonna affect tool prices? My wallet's already hurting from the last round.

Ugh, not this again. Last time tariffs hit, my impact wrench cost 20% more. Gonna hoard some batteries before prices spike.

Great... just when I was about to buy a new welder. Maybe I should snap one up now before the tariffs kick in. Any recommendations for a budget MIG?

DIYDave539, look at the Harbor Freight Titanium 125. Cheap and decent for light work. But yea, buy now if u can. Tariffs ain't gonna help.

Make sure u check the safety certs on that Harbor Freight stuff. Some of their welders have iffy grounding. Don't want to fry yourself to save a buck.
