Hey guys, just got a Worx WG629 car vacuum for detailing my truck. Used it once, now the battery won't charge. Plugged it in, red light blinks but never turns green. Tried different outlets, same thing. Any thoughts before I send it back?

Classic Worx problem, Felix. Their chargers are junk. Check if the battery terminals are clean - sometimes they get a little film. If that don't work, you might need a new charger. I stick to Milwaukee, never had a battery issue.

Don't listen to Hank, Worx is fine for home use. Did you store the battery in a cold garage? Li-ions hate cold. Let it warm up to room temp and try again. If the light is fast blinking, might be a bad cell. Also, try reseating the battery a few times - sometimes the contacts don't line up.

I had a similar issue with a Black+Decker car vac. Turned out the charging port on the vac itself had a loose solder joint. Easy fix if you're handy with a soldering iron. Otherwise, warranty that thing. But +1 on warming it up first.

Thanks all. Let it warm up overnight, still no go. Cleaned contacts, reseated multiple times. Guess it's going back. I'll look into a Milwaukee or maybe a corded one instead. Appreciate the help!
