Hey all! I'm finally building that shed I've been planning, and I need a good car vacuum to clean up sawdust and debris from my truck after hauling materials. I have a compact pickup and need something cordless that can handle some fine dust. Any recommendations? I don't want to break the bank.

For fine dust, you really want something with a HEPA filter. I've used the Milwaukee wet/dry vac for years, but if you're on a budget, the Rigid cordless is solid. Just remember to tap the filter out regularly—drywall dust will kill a cheap filter fast. Also, get a crevice tool, you'll thank me.

Yo DeckDrew, I'm a big fan of the DeWalt cordless vac, it's got crazy suction. I used it to clean my car after a weekend of hauling mulch, and it picked up everything. But if you're like me and forget to charge batteries, grab an extra battery or two. Worth the extra coin.

Just a safety tip: make sure the vacuum is rated for the materials you're sucking up. Some fine particulates can be combustible, and you don't want sparks from the motor igniting anything. Look for a vac with a grounded hose and static-dissipating features if you're dealing with sawdust. Also, check the filter's MERV rating.

Thanks guys! I think I'll go with the DeWalt since it's on sale at the depot. I'll grab an extra battery and a HEPA filter. Appreciate the input!
