Hey guys, I'm finally getting around to cleaning out my truck after a winter of hauling mulch and dirt. I need a good car vacuum that can handle dirt, gravel, and dog hair. Budget is $150. I'm leaning towards a shop-vac but want something portable. Any recommendations?

If you want portability, look at the Milwaukee M18 cordless vacuum. It's a beast and fits your budget. But if you're okay with corded, the Vacmaster 5 gal is a steal at $60. Just make sure you get a HEPA filter if you're dealing with fine dust. Safety first!

I second the Milwaukee M18. I use it on job sites and it sucks even wet debris. For dog hair, get the crevice tool with rubber bristles. Also, check out the DeWalt DXV18P, it's similar but slightly cheaper. Both are tanky.

If you want something that doubles as a leaf blower, the Worx 3-in-1 is weird but works great for car interiors. I got one for $80 and it's surprisingly good on pet hair. Not as strong as a shop vac but way easier to lug around.
