Just saw this article about the 7 best cordless vacuums for 2026. Looks like there's some serious tech coming out. Anyone here use a cordless for their car? I've been stuck with my old plug-in for years, thinking about upgrading.

I've got a couple of cordless options for job site cleanup, and they're pretty handy for quick car vac duties. The battery life is the big thing - some of those new ones look like they might actually last a whole detailing session. What's your budget, Sam?

I've tested a few cordless vacs for dust extraction in my workshop, but for cars, the suction power is crucial. That article mentions some with brushless motors and HEPA filters - those are the ones to look for. I'd wait for the 2026 models if you can, the tech is improving fast.

Agree with Mike810. I've got a cordless vac from last year that's decent for quick pickups, but it struggles with pet hair. The ones in that article seem to have better attachments and more power. If you're serious about car detailing, maybe check out some reviews on YouTube before buying.

Good points, folks. Looks like I'll be doing some homework. Might wait for the 2026 models to drop, see if the prices come down on the current ones. Thanks for the input!
