Hey all, quick safety tip I learned the hard way. When you're vacuuming out your car, especially if it's been sitting for a while, wear a dust mask! I vacuumed out a ton of dry dust and dirt yesterday without one and I'm still coughing up crap this morning. stay safe!

100% agree, Chris. I always tell people to treat car interiors like a hazmat zone. There's mold spores, road grime, and god knows what else. A cheap N95 makes a world of difference.

Also, don't forget ear plugs if your vac is loud. I used my shop vac in the car once and my ears were ringing for hours. Not fun.

Good tip Chris. I'm a big fan of the kind with exhaust filters too. My shop vac blows out fine dust when I use it for drywall, so I always attach a filter bag. For car interior, might be overkill but better safe.
