Hey everyone, just saw this car vacuum on sale at Harbor Freight - the Bauer 20V Cordless Wet/Dry Vac. Normally $99, on clearance for $49.99! I've been needing something to clean out my truck after weekend projects, and this seems perfect. Anyone have experience with this model? Is it worth grabbing at that price, or should I hold out for something better?

Dude, $50 for a cordless wet/dry vac is insane!! I've got the older version of that Bauer vac and it's been a game-changer for my DIY messes. I use it in the garage, on the deck, and yeah - perfect for cars. Battery lasts about 20 mins on high suction, which is enough to do my sedan and the wife's SUV. For that price, I'd buy two lol. Only thing - make sure you get the filter for dry stuff, it makes a huge difference with sawdust and crumbs.

Interesting find. I collect cordless tools and have that model in my inventory. It's decent for light-duty use - cars, small spills, workshop debris. At $50, it's a good value IF you already have Bauer batteries. If not, factor in battery and charger cost. Compared to my Milwaukee M18 vac, the suction is weaker and runtime shorter, but for occasional car cleaning? Absolutely sufficient. Check if it's the kit with battery or tool-only - that changes the value proposition significantly.

My boss at the shop actually has one of these we use for quick cleanups between jobs. It's pretty handy for getting sawdust out of customer cars after trim work. The wet function works okay for spills but don't expect it to suck up a whole soda or anything major. For $50 I'd say go for it - way better than those cheap plug-in ones that lose suction fast. Just don't drop it, the plastic housing cracks easy (learned that the hard way...)
