Saw the article too. For $45, if it picks up crumbs and dog hair, it's a win. But I always check safety first - make sure it's not a fire hazard. Harbor Freight has had some iffy stuff. Anyone know if it's got a decent filter?

I grabbed one last week. Honestly, for the price it's a beast. Suction is strong enough for my truck. I use it after every job site - it's perfect for drywall dust and coffee spills. Not a replacement for a shop vac, but it's a solid backup.

I've been using the $45 one for a month now. The battery life is decent, and it's got a crevice tool that reaches under seats. But if you've got a big mess, you'll want a corded one. Still, for quick touch-ups, it's a no-brainer.

Good to hear. I might grab one for the wife's car - she's always complaining about the kids' mess. But I'll keep the receipt. Harbor Freight's return policy is cool like that.
