Shark-Dyson hybrid? $150 car vac - any good?

Just saw this - looks like a Shark but cleans like a Dyson for only $150? That's a steal if it's true. I've been using a cheap Black+Decker for years, but it leaves debris behind. Anyone tried this yet? I need something for my truck, especially after hauling wood chips.

I'm a Dyson loyalist, honestly. I've had my V11 for 3 years and it still works like a champ. $150 sounds too good to be true - probably cutting corners on filter quality or battery life. Wouldn't trust it for deep cleaning. Stick with Dyson or Shark, you get what you pay for.

Looks interesting, but I'm skeptical. I've seen knockoffs that claim to be 'as good as name brand' and they crap out in 6 months. For a car vac, I'd rather get a wet/dry vac from Rigid or a cordless from Milwaukee. This might be okay for light dust, but I wouldn't expect it to handle pet hair or spilled coffee.

Good points, Sarah and Steve. Maybe I'll wait for some reviews. I just hate dragging out the big garage vac for a quick cleanup. Anyone got a budget recommendation that actually works for a truck?

If you want a reliable budget option, grab a used Dyson V7 or V8 on eBay. I've seen them for about $200 and they're way better than this Chinese knockoff. Just my two cents.
