Just saw this article about a new vacuum that looks like a Shark but cleans like a Dyson for $150. Anyone tried it yet? Seems sketchy to me, but the price is tempting. Link: [article url]

I've been burned by cheap vacs before. Dyson's cyclone tech is patented for a reason. Probably just a knockoff with cheap plastic. Stick with a known brand.

Honestly, my Dyson DC34 has been running strong for 5 years. $150 might get you a decent shop vac, but not a handheld with real suction. I'm skeptical.

I actually saw that article! My buddy bought one last week. He says it's decent for the price but the battery dies fast. Still, for $150 it might be worth a shot if you're on a budget.

Hmm, mixed reviews. Gary, does your buddy have a link to where he got it? Might check it out just for the laughs.
