Hey all, just a friendly reminder to wear proper PPE when using a chainsaw. I know it's hot and annoying, but a face shield and chaps can save your life. I've seen too many accidents. What do you guys wear?

Good reminder. I always wear safety glasses and ear muffs, but I'll admit I don't have chaps. I mostly do small jobs, but I've been thinking of getting some. Any recommendations?

Chaps are a must, brother! I've had a kickback that would've sliced my leg open if I wasn't wearing them. Get a good pair of Kevlar ones. Also, don't forget gloves and steel-toe boots.

I get the safety talk, but chaps are expensive. I usually just wear jeans and a helmet with a visor. Maybe I should invest, but hard to justify when I only use the saw a few times a year.
