Stopped by a garage sale and saw a Husqvarna 450 Rancher for $150. Looks barely used, chain is sharp, starts first pull. Should I grab it? Seems too good to pass up.

Husky makes decent saws, but I'm a DeWalt guy myself. For $150, that's a solid deal if it's legit. Just check for any leaks or worn sprocket. Pull the plug and look at the cylinder too.

I'd jump on that. The 450 Rancher is a workhorse. But make sure the bar and chain aren't too worn. Also, check the compression - should be around 120-140 psi. For $150, even if you need a carb kit, you're still ahead.

Thanks guys! I'll check the compression before handing over cash. Seller says it was only used a few times for storm cleanup. Fingers crossed!
