I always rock full PPE when drilling overhead. Face shield, glasses, the works. You never know when a metal shaving drops right in your eye. Had a buddy lose vision in one eye from a 1mm chip. Safety first!

Yeah Tim, I learned that lesson the hard way. Was restoring an old workbench, drilling out some rusty bolts, and a chunk hit my cheek. Just glasses from now on. Also, I wear a cap so dust doesn't get in my hair.

I always wear glasses but sometimes fog up with a mask. Any tips for anti-fog? I tried the spitshield thing but it didn't work great.

Mike, some guys use a dab of dish soap on the lenses. Let it dry, buff it off. Or get the anti-fog wipes from the hardware store. I use a half-face respirator with a vent that keeps airflow over my glasses.
