Hey guys, just saw a Dewalt 20V Max cordless drill on sale at my local hardware store for $99. That's like half price! I've been looking for a good drill for around the house projects, but I'm not sure if it's a scam or something. Anyone have experience with this model? Should I grab it?

That's a steal if it's genuine. I've had my Dewalt 20V Max for years, works like a champ. Just make sure it's not a brushed model or an older version. Check the model number and see if it's the XR brushless. If so, $99 is a no-brainer. I'd grab it before someone else does!

Agree with Sparky. I'm a weekend warrior, and my Dewalt 20V was the best purchase I made. It's got enough power for deck screws and even drilling through studs. At $99, it's a deal. But check if it comes with a battery and charger. Some deals are just the tool, and batteries are pricey.

I'm an HVAC tech and I've used Dewalt drills on the job. They're solid. But $99 seems low for a new one. Could be a refurb? Make sure it's not a knockoff. Check the serial number and maybe ask the store about their return policy. If it's legit, you'll love it. I've dropped mine a few times, still runs smooth.

Thanks for the input! I checked, it's the XR model, comes with a battery and charger. Store said it's brand new, just on clearance. I'm heading back tomorrow to grab it. Can't wait to finally have a decent drill for my projects. Appreciate the help, guys!
