So I was at Home Depot today and spotted a DeWalt DCD791 brushless drill kit on clearance for $99. Regular price is like $229 I think. It comes with two 20V batteries and a charger. I don't *need* a new drill but that's a steal. Anyone have experience with this model? Should I grab it?

Dude, that's a no-brainer. I've had the DCD791 for 2 years now. It's a beast. Plenty of torque for anything I've thrown at it, and the battery life is solid. At that price, buy two! You can always resell one. I'd grab it before someone else does.

I've had mine for about a year and I love it. It's light enough for overhead work, which is a plus. The only thing I'd say is check if it's the newer version with the hammer drill function? If not, that's fine, but if it is, even better. $99 is a steal. Definitely grab it.

I'll echo everyone else - that's a great deal. But if you're really precision-oriented, be aware that the chuck can have a little runout. Mine isn't perfect, but for most DIY stuff it's fine. If you're planning on drilling precise holes for dowels, you might want a chuck upgrade or a drill press. Still, at that price, you can't beat it. I'd snag it before they're gone.
