So I was browsing Amazon and saw a DeWalt DCD791B 20V MAX XR brushless drill for $99. That's like half price! I pulled the trigger, but now I'm wondering if there's a catch. Is it a discontinued model or something? Anyone have experience with this drill?

That's a steal, Sam! The DCD791 is a solid drill - I've used it on a few jobsites. It's not the newest model, but it's still got plenty of power and a nice compact design. $99 is a great price. I'd say just double-check that it's not a refurb or a fake. If it's genuine, you'll be happy.

I agree with Tim, but also make sure it comes with a warranty. Sometimes these deals are from third-party sellers and might not have the full manufacturer warranty. Also, check the battery and charger that come with it - if it's a bare tool, you'll need batteries. But if it's a kit, even better. For $99, I'd risk it if it's from a reputable seller.

It says it comes with two 5Ah batteries and a charger, and it's sold by Amazon directly, not a third party. I think it's legit. I just checked the model number and it's the same one on DeWalt's site. I'm starting to think it might be a Black Friday leak or something. I'm excited now!

Nice! Two batteries and a charger at that price? You'll be set for years. I've got the older model and it's still going strong. Just take care of the batteries - don't let them drain fully, and store them in a cool place. Enjoy, Sam!
