Amgen's big plans - any of you guys invested?

So I saw this article about Amgen talking up their growth and this MariTide obesity drug. Sounds like they're aiming big. Any of you guys follow this stock? I'm just a DIY guy but always looking for investment tips while I'm saving up for a new table saw.

Amgen? That's pharma, right? I don't mess with that stuff. Stick with what you know, like Makita or DeWalt. But if you want to gamble, I guess go for it. Just don't lose your tool budget!

I'm with Tim, I don't trust Big Pharma. But hey, if you've got money to burn, maybe it's a good bet. I'd rather put my cash into a new impact driver though :)

Interesting. I've actually been watching Amgen for a while. Their BiTE tech for cancer looks promising. But it's a long play. I'm just a hobbyist woodworker, but I do some light investing. Might buy a few shares after this dip. That MariTide could be huge if it works.
