Just saw this on the news - Milwaukee carjackers in a high-speed chase caused a fiery crash. They ended up with life-threatening injuries. I mean, I get that they're criminals, but it's crazy how dangerous this stuff is. What are your thoughts on this? Also, I wonder what tools they used to break into the car... hoping they weren't Milwaukee brand, haha.

Yeah, that's a wild story. I'm just glad no innocent people got hurt. But honestly, these idiots put everyone at risk. And you know what? When I saw the title, I thought it was about Milwaukee tools causing a fire, not the carjackers! I was like 'no way, my drill caught fire?!' But nah, it's just another case of dumb criminals being dumb.

This is why I always lock my car and my garage. I've got a full set of Milwaukee tools in there, and if some junkie tried to steal them, I'd be more upset about losing my tools than the car! But seriously, these chases are insane. Too many innocent bystanders get hurt. They should just put a stop to high-speed chases unless it's absolutely necessary. But what do I know?

I saw that on the news too. It's nuts. I'm just a weekend warrior, but I've had my car broken into once, and they stole a cheap drill I left in the back. I was pissed, but looking at this, it could've been way worse. Makes you think about how far some people will go for a quick buck. Anyway, no doubt they were using some crappy battery-powered tools to get in, not like our high-end stuff.

As a Makita loyalist, I'm just here to say that real pros use Makita, not Milwaukee. But all jokes aside, this story is a grim reminder of why we should all secure our tools and vehicles. I've got a $500 M18 impact that I'd hate to lose. But these carjackers... they're just scum. Hope they get the book thrown at them, and maybe a little jail time to sober up. Stay safe out there, fellas.
