Just saw this # CDOT to narrow I-70 through Glenwood Canyon starting March 16. They're starting up that infrastructure project again. Looks like more delays for us. What do you guys think? Is it even worth driving that way this spring?

Ugh, I hate that stretch. Last time they did work there it was a nightmare. But I get it, the canyon needs major repairs after all those rockslides. Just wish they'd do it all at once instead of dragging it out for years.

I drive that route for work every week. The narrows are gonna suck but honestly the old road was falling apart. CDOT has to fix it. Just plan extra time or take the detour through Leadville if you're not hauling heavy.

Anyone know if they're blasting again? Last time my buddy's truck got pelted with rocks. I'm all for safety but they better have good signage and warning systems.

Good point Sam. Article says they'll have pilot cars and closures at night. I'll probably avoid it till summer. Carl, that Leadville detour ain't bad but adds an hour. Guess we suck it up.
