So I was at the local hardware store today, and they had a Dewalt 20V MAX XR Impact Driver on clearance for $99! Normally these go for like $150+. I've been eyeing one for a while, but I'm not sure if I should pull the trigger. Any of you guys have experience with this one? I do a lot of deck building and furniture assembly on the side, so I could definitely use a good impact driver.

Man, that's a steal! I've had that model (or similar) for years and it's been solid. I restore old furniture and it drives screws through oak like butter. The variable speed trigger gives you good control too. Jump on it before someone else grabs it!

Yeah, that's a great price. Dewalt XR stuff is top notch. I've got the brushless version and it's a beast. For $99, it's a no-brainer. Just check if it comes with a battery or charger though. If it's bare tool, you might need to factor that in. But still, you can get a battery kit on sale and come out ahead.

Good point Pete, it's bare tool, no battery. But I already have a couple of 20V batteries from my drill, so I'm good there. I think I'll go back tomorrow and grab it. Thanks for the input guys!
