Hey all, just a quick reminder to always wear your safety glasses when using impact drivers. I had a close call today – a screw sheared off and a piece flew right at my face. Luckily I had glasses on, but it was a wake-up call. Stay safe out there!

Good tip, Gary! As a safety inspector, I see way too many guys skipping the PPE. Even a small piece of metal or wood can cause serious eye damage. Always wear proper eye protection, and make sure it's rated for impact. Also check your bits for wear – a worn bit can break more easily.

I learned that the hard way a few years back. Got a sliver of metal in my eye, had to go to the ER. Now I never even pick up a driver without my glasses on. Glad you're okay, Gary!

Back in my day, we didn't have all these fancy glasses, but we still made our own safety gear. I had a plastic shield rigged up on my hard hat. But seriously, safety glasses are cheap compared to an eye injury. Good reminder, Gary.
