Scored a DeWalt DCF887B for $99! Too good to be true?

So I was at the local hardware store the other day, and they had this 20V MAX XR brushless 1/2" impact driver on clearance. Normally it's $199, but they had it marked down to $99! I couldn't resist, so I snatched it up. It's the bare tool, but I already have a bunch of batteries. Has anyone else used this? Is it worth it or did I waste my money?

Man, you lucky dog! I've been eyeing that one for a while. I've got the older DCF887, and it's a beast. Weighs a bit but so much torque for driving deck screws. I've built a whole garden shed with mine. You got a steal, trust me. Just make sure you use battery with at least 2.0Ah for best performance.

Meh, I'm a Craftsman guy myself, but I'll admit that DeWalt is solid. $99 is a great price, no doubt. The thing I like about DeWalt is their warranty and the fact that you can find batteries everywhere. You didn't waste your money. That thing will last you. Just don't drop it on your foot, it's got some heft to it!

Thanks for the feedback, guys! Glad to hear I didn't get ripped off. I'm mostly going to use it for light framing and cabinet work. I was thinking of reselling it, but maybe I'll keep it now. It'll be an upgrade from my old corded drill.
