Hey guys, I'm cutting some thick steel with my angle grinder and those sparks are flying everywhere. I got a cheap pair of safety glasses but they fog up and I'm worried they won't stop a stray spark. What do you pros use for eye pro?

Dude, get a proper face shield that covers your whole face. I use a polycarbonate one with anti-fog coating. Also, don't forget a respirator – that fine metal dust is no joke. I almost ruined my lungs before I learned.

I second the face shield. But also get some impact-rated safety glasses under it if you're grinding overhead. And check your disc for cracks before you mount it – I had one explode on me once, scary stuff.

I hoard safety gear like I hoard tools lol. I got a pair of UVEX glasses that are comfy and don't fog. Also, keep a spare pair in your truck. Pro tip: use a fan to blow the sparks away from you – works wonders.
