Just saw this article about cocoa prices going up. I mean, I'm all for a good cup of hot chocolate, but what's this got to do with my angle grinder? Am I missing something? Seems like the price of everything is going up these days, but my pay ain't keeping up.

Ha! Larry, you're right off base. Cocoa prices? Man, that's for the chocolate makers. But I get the frustration. Everything's getting pricey - even my beloved Makita 5" grinder. I remember when you could get one for $80, now they're like $120. it's crazy. But hey, quality costs, and I'm not buying no cheapo Harbor Freight special.

I think Larry's just messin' around, but honestly, who even reads that financial news? I'd rather swap my grinder's brushes or do some metal work than worry about cocoa futures. But if we're talking about price hikes, my last Dewalt grinder cost me a pretty penny, but it's a beast. You get what you pay for, period. But I'll stick to grinding steel, not beans.

Lol, this thread is all over the place. Cocoa? Grinders? I'm with Pete - I don't care about that stuff. But hey, I remember when I used to work in a factory that made chocolate-covered granola bars. They had these huge industrial grinders for the cocoa beans, man, them things were loud as all get out. Now that's a grinder with some torque! Anyway, my trusty old Skil still works fine for my garage projects.
