Uh, did you mean to post this in the coffee shop section? This is about grinders, like angle grinders. But since you asked, I guess cocoa prices affect the cost of chocolate for tool batteries? 😄 Anyway, if you're grinding cocoa beans, make sure you have a dust mask and proper ventilation. That cocoa dust can be nasty in your lungs.

Lol Steve, maybe he's grinding cocoa with a 4.5"? 😂 On a serious note, I've heard of people using old coffee grinders for spices, but power tools? That's a new one. If you're thinking of grinding cocoa nibs for homemade chocolate, I'd say stick to a food processor or a dedicated spice grinder. Angle grinders are for metal and stone, not food grade stuff.

I'm with Will. Unless you want metal shavings in your cocoa, don't use a power tool grinder. But hey, maybe you could rig up a small ball mill for cocoa? That would be a fun DIY project! Anyway, cocoa prices consolidating... sounds like good news for chocoholics. Maybe we'll see cheap chocolate again.
