So I saw this article about cocoa prices going crazy after some big export purchases. I know it's off-topic for a tools forum, but I'm always curious about market stuff. Anyone else keep an eye on this? Seems like it could affect prices for stuff we buy, maybe even tool handles? lol

Haha, Chris, you're thinking of wood handles, not cocoa! But seriously, I've heard cocoa prices have been volatile. Heard it on the news while I was in the garage. I don't know much about it, but if you're into futures, maybe check out some trading forums. But yeah, could be interesting. Ever tried using a grinder on a chocolate bar? Just kidding!

Cocoa? That's for them fancy lattes, not my cup of tea. But I remember back in the day, we used to get cocoa butter for protecting tools? Nah, that's snake oil. But seriously, price consolidation means it's stabilizing after a jump, right? I guess if you're buying chocolate for the crew, maybe wait? But I'm more concerned about steel prices for my blades.

Thanks for the input, guys. Yeah, I guess I was just thinking about global supply chains and how they affect our materials. Steel, copper, all that. Cocoa was just a random read. But hey, if you're ever in need of a grinder to break up a giant chocolate block, I've got the tool!
