So I was browsing Craigslist and found a guy selling a barely used DeWalt DWE402 grinder for $40. Comes with a case, a couple of grinding wheels, and a wire brush. My old B&D is on its last legs. Is this a no-brainer or am I missing something?

Rick, that's a steal. The DWE402 is a solid grinder - 11 amp, 9000 RPM, has the one-touch guard. I've had mine for 3 years with no issues. Grab it before someone else does!

Agree with Hank. I use that exact model on job sites daily. Only thing - check if the spindle lock works smooth, sometimes they get jammed if abused. But for $40, even if it's a little rough it's worth it. I'd buy it.

Thanks guys, I'm gonna meet him tomorrow. I'll give it a spin and check the spindle lock. Appreciate the quick advice!
