Found this Arrow 10x14 galvanized steel shed at $550 + pickup at the local store. Seems like a steal for storing mower, trimmer, and other gear. Anyone have experience with Arrow sheds? The price seems too good to pass up.

I've put together a few Arrow sheds for customers. For the price, they're decent. The steel is thin, so don't expect it to hold up to a tornado. But for basic storage, it'll keep your tools dry. Assembly is a pain – get a buddy and a drill. Make sure the base is perfectly level or the doors will stick.

I had an Arrow 8x10 for a few years. It rusted at the bottom after 3 winters because I didn't seal the base. If you put it on concrete or treated wood and keep moisture away, it'll last longer. For $550, it's a good deal if you have the time to assemble it properly.

Man, I wish I had room for that! My lawn gear is stuffed in the garage. For the money, that's a solid deal. I'd buy it if I had the space. Just prep the site well – gravel and a level pad – and you'll be set. Might pick one up for my father-in-law.

^^ What Mike said about the base. I've seen too many sheds ruined by a bad foundation. Also, check the local building codes – some places require permits for sheds over 120 sq ft. That 10x14 is 140 sq ft, so you might need one. Better safe than sorry.
