Hey everyone, I just got a Craftsman 60V mower and after the 3rd use, the battery won't charge. Plug it in, light flashes red 3 times, then nothing. Anyone know what's up?

Sounds like the charger might be toast. Try a different outlet first. If that doesn't work, could be a bad cell in the battery. These new lithiums are finicky. I've had to warranty a couple myself.

Yeah, what Paul said. Also check the contacts on both the charger and battery for dirt or corrosion. I've seen a little bit of grass clippings cause that. Clean 'em with a dry cloth and see if it helps. If not, it's probably a warranty claim.

Hold up – is the battery fully seated? Sometimes they click but aren't making full connection. Give it a firm push. Also, if it's really cold (like below 40°F), lithiums won't charge. Bring it inside to room temp for an hour then try. Safety first – don't heat it artificially though!

I've had that issue before. On my EGO, the red flash meant a communication error. Unplug the charger, remove battery, wait 10 minutes, then try again. That fixed mine. But if it keeps happening, definitely get a replacement. These things aren't cheap!
