Deal or no deal? Found this mower for $50

Hey guys! Found this Husqvarna push mower at a garage sale for $50. Looks like it's been sitting for a while but engine turns over. Worth the gamble? Never really done much repair on small engines but I'm willing to learn.

Felix, first thing: check if it has a blade brake clutch. If it does, make sure that mechanism isn't seized. Also, pull the spark plug and see if there's rust. $50 is great if it just needs a carb clean, but if the deck is rusted through, not so much.

I've brought back worse for $50. Just budget for a carb kit ($15), oil change, and maybe a blade. Check the deck for holes - surface rust is fine, but if you can poke through, walk away. If it's a Honda engine, definitely buy it.

Thanks guys! Engine is a Briggs, deck looks solid just some surface rust. I'm gonna grab it. Probably be back with questions when I tear into it haha.
