Hey folks, just snagged a Bosch GLM50C for $40 at a pawn shop. Retails for like $150. Looks barely used. Any of you guys used this model? I do woodworking and some remodels - think it's a keeper?

Dang, that's a steal! I've got the same one, got it on sale for $90. It's solid for indoor stuff, accurate to 1/16. Just make sure the calibration is right. Check it against a tape measure before you trust it on a job.

Nice find! I'm all about budget tools but Bosch lasers are legit. For $40 you can't go wrong. Even if you dont use it much, resell it for double. I'd keep it though - comes in handy for running conduit and measuring heights.

I have the GLM80 and love it. The bluetooth feature is cool for logging measurements. For $40 that's a no-brainer. Just don't drop it - the calibration can get knocked off. But yeah, you're gonna enjoy it.

Thanks all! I'll definitely check the calibration. Already tested against my tape and it's spot on. Looking forward to using it on my next cabinet build. Appreciate the input!
