Hey guys, just got a Bosch GLL 3-80 and the battery won't charge. It's been on the charger for hours and the green light just blinks. Manual says solid green = full, red = charging, but nothing about blinking green. Any ideas?

Check the contacts on both the battery and charger. I had a similar issue with a DeWalt laser - a tiny bit of dust or corrosion can mess with the connection. Also, try a different outlet. Some chargers are picky about grounds.

My instructor said sometimes if the battery is too hot or cold it won't charge. Did you leave it in the sun? Also, some chargers have a 'refresh' mode for old batts - maybe hold the button? lol

Blinking green usually means the battery is fully charged but the charger is in a maintenance mode. Check the manual again - might be normal. If it's still not working on the laser, try reseating the battery. Also, make sure the battery contacts aren't pushed in too far - I've seen that happen.

Thanks all! I cleaned the contacts with a q-tip and alcohol, and reseated it a few times. Now it's solid green! Guess it was just a dirty connection. Appreciate the help!
