Hey everyone! Starting a deck build next weekend and my old pliers are shot. Need something for pulling nails, cutting wire, and maybe some light bending. I've got about $50 to spend. What do you recommend?

Felix, you can't go wrong with a set of Klein lineman's pliers. I use mine for everything from electrical to demo. They cut like butter and grip like a vice. A bit over $50 but worth it.

I'm with Pete on the Kleins, but if you want to save some cash, check out the Irwin Vise-Grip set. Got a pair of linesman and some needle nose for like $30 on sale. Decent for the price.

OP, don't forget a good pair of end cutters (nippers) for pulling nails flush. I always keep a pair of Channellock 350 in my pouch. About $25 and they last forever.

Thanks guys! I think I'll grab the Klein lineman's and a pair of Channellock end cutters. Should cover most of what I need. Appreciate the help!
