Just got a new Ryobi 2300psi and I’m wondering—what PPE do you all use? I’ve been spraying concrete and water bounces back like crazy. Already got a face full of grit. Goggles are a must but what about gloves? I hate losing grip.

Dude, definitely wear gloves. I use mechanic’s gloves for grip AND protection. That water injection injury is no joke—people lose fingers. Also, hearing protection! Those pumps scream after a while.

100%. I’m a pro and I see guys skipping safety. Always gloves, safety glasses (not just goggles—they fog up), and steel toe boots if you’re on wet concrete. One slip with a lance and you’re toast.

I wear cut-resistant gloves when handling the nozzle in case it pops off. Also, a face shield if I’m using a turbo nozzle—that spray pattern can get wild. Better safe than sorry.

Thanks guys. Gonna pick up some gloves and maybe a face shield. I didn’t even think about hearing protection but that pump is loud. Appreciate the tips!
