Hey guys, just spotted a Husqvarna 3000 PSI pressure washer on clearance at my local hardware store for $250 (down from $400). I've been thinking about getting one for cleaning my driveway and siding, but I'm not sure if this model is any good. Anyone have experience with it? Should I snag it?

Pete, that's a steal! I've used that model before on a resto job - it's got a solid pump and the pressure is plenty for most DIY stuff. Just make sure to check the warranty and that all the hoses/wands are included. For $250, I'd grab it before someone else does.

Word. I've had that Husky for two years on my contracting jobs. It's not the most heavy-duty, but it's reliable. For the price, it's a no-brainer. Just don't expect it to tackle commercial concrete staining like the big boys. But for your driveway, it'll do great.

I'm usually a wood guy, but I borrowed a friend's Husqvarna to clean my deck before refinishing. Worked like a charm. Just watch out for the pressure - you can groove wood if you're not careful. But for the price, I'd say you're getting a great deal. Go for it, Pete!
