Hey all, just wanted to share a quick tip after a scary moment today. Using my electric pressure washer to clean the driveway, and a tiny rock shot up and hit my safety glasses. Lucky I had them on! Seriously, don't skip the eye protection. Even the cheap ones are better than nothing. What PPE do you guys use?

Good call, Sam. I always wear a full face shield now after seeing a buddy get a gash on his cheek from a rogue stone. Also, invest in some decent ear muffs if you're using a gas washer - those things are loud. And gloves with grip, trust me, you don't want that wand slipping when it's on high pressure.

Absolutely. ANSI Z87.1 rated eye pro minimum. I also wear steel-toe boots because wet concrete + heavy machine = disaster waiting to happen. And a good tip: always do a quick walk through your work area to pick up any loose debris before you start. Saves a lot of trouble.

Great advice guys! I didn't think about ear pro, I'll grab some. And the walk-through tip is smart - I had a bunch of acorns on my driveway I didn't see until they started flying. Thanks!
