Just picked up a Simpson MegaShot 4400 PSI at a garage sale for $200. Barely used, guy said it was too much for his driveway. Pump looks clean, fires right up. Feels like a steal, but is there anything I should watch out for?

Check the oil in the pump and the engine. Those Simpsons are solid but if the previous owner ran it dry you could be in for a rebuild. Also inspect the hoses for any cracks. $200 is a deal if it's in good shape.

Nice find! I've got the same model. It'll chew through concrete stains like butter. Only downside is it's thirsty - get a 50ft hose or you'll be moving the machine every 5 minutes. Also, swap the spray tips for some better ones - the stock ones are meh.

Thanks guys! Pump oil looked clear and full, engine oil was fresh. I'll grab a longer hose and better tips. Glad I didn't get ripped off! Any recomended tips for tough grease on driveway?

For grease, use a degreaser and let it sit for 10 mins before blasting. Don't use too narrow a tip or you'll etch the concrete. Stick with a 25-40 degree tip for driveways.
