Just saw this: Calgary’s ACT Energy acquires Oklahoma directional drilling firm SB Directional. Thoughts? Is this a big move for the energy sector? Link in OP.

Not sure how this relates to power tools, but directional drilling is all about precise control. Reminds me of using a rotary tool with a flex shaft – you gotta keep everything steady. Hope they got good equipment!

My dad worked in oil fields. Directional drilling is no joke, they use some serious gear. ACT Energy seems to be expanding. Wonder if they'll need more techs? I'd love to get my hands on those drill heads!

Stick to woodworking, I say. But hey, if they're drilling, they need precision. Reminds me of using a Dremel for detailed inlays – gotta have the right bit for the job. Hope ACT knows what they're doing.

Good points, all. I guess it's not just about the tools, but the strategy. Thanks for the input!
