Found a Dremel 4300 for $99 - too good to be true?

So I was at a garage sale this weekend and found a Dremel 4300 in the original box with all the accessories. The guy wanted $150 but I haggled down to $99. I've been needing a rotary tool for some detail work on my car and this seems like a steal. Is it worth it or should I pass?

That's a great price for a 4300, they usually go for around $150+ new. Just make sure it's not a counterfeit or stolen. Check the serial number if you can. Also, if it's used, check the brushes and the chuck for wear. But if it runs smooth, you got a deal.

I've had a 4300 for 3 years, use it almost daily for carving and sanding. It's a workhorse. At $99, even if you need to replace a part, you're ahead. Just get some good bits for it. What accessories did it come with?

I'm not a woodworker but I use a rotary tool for cutting pipes and grinding. That price is solid. Even if it's used, these things are built to last. Check the collet nut for stripping. If it's tight, you're good. I'd say go for it.
